Marathon Tech International, Inc. (Marathon Tech) warrants its custom built computer systems against all defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser for three (3) years. We stand behind our computers and guarantee you will not be charged for parts or labor, excluding provisions noted in this standard limited warranty. Computer components purchased separately, (without an expressed manufacturer’s warranty) are automatically warranted by Marathon Tech to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the purchase date. Computer components purchased separately, with an expressed manufacturer’s warranty, are warranted by Marathon Tech for the first thirty (30) days and after thirty days, by the individual manufacturer warranty only. Monitors, purchased with or without a system, are warranted for the first thirty (30) days and after thirty (30) days, when applicable, by the individual monitor manufacturer warranty only. After thirty (30) days, all service and support for manufacturer warranted components is provided by the individual manufacturer’s warranty only. COMPLETE COVERAGE during the next twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase, Marathon Tech agrees to repair or, at our discretion, replace any covered defective system FREE of charge. As stated above, individual components and monitors are warranted for the first thirty (30) days and beyond thirty (30) days, when applicable, by the individual manufacturer’s warranty only.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE
In the event that a problem or failure occurs with a computer system or component, contact Marathon Tech Support immediately. They will assist you in determining the malfunction and if repair service is required. They will then direct you to our nearest service location or provide you with shipping instructions to Marathon Tech. For return shipping service please follow these guidelines:
1. Remove any
non-Marathon Tech components from the computer.
2. Pack the computer or component securely to avoid shipping damage.
3. Include a detailed description of the problem.
4. Include a copy of the purchase invoice.
5. Insure the shipment.
6. If you are given one, write the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)
number on the carton

2. Damage from installation of third-party hardware.
3. Re-Installation of software or resetting of CMOS.
4. Virus scanning and deleting.

6. Missing items such as cables, disks, manuals, etc.
Restocking
Fee
All Returns for a
refund are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Bundled
Software
Marathon Tech
does not accept returns on products obtained as part of a bundle with other
computer services or equipment, or distributed by another company as part of a
software compilation.
Services
Marathon Tech
does not accept returns on its services - technical support contracts,
professional services, and product customizations - that are sold to customers
under contract.
Retail
Products
Retail products
purchased from an external distributor are subject to the return policies of
that distributor.
POS
Software
POS software
purchased directly from the software company that develops the product is
subject to the return policies of that software company.
OTHER THAN THE ABOVE, MARATHON TECH INTERNATIONAL, INC. MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING SPECIFICALLY ANY WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY, OR WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. MARATHON TECH INTERNATIONAL, INC. ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR OTHER DAMAGE ARISING FROM A HARDWARE FAILURE.
